Tools And Personal Papers Stolen From Revilo Road Residence
Tools and personal papers were reported stolen from a Revilo Road home late last week, and authorities are working to determine whether a tractor fire is related to the crime.
The resident told deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Friday that he had initially believed nothing was missing after an unknown individual entered his home.
Later, however, he discovered that personal papers, toolboxes, numerous tools and a five gallon bucket filled with nuts and bolts had been stolen.
In addition, the resident told deputies that he had gone into his barn on January 30 to find that the inside of the cab on his Ford tractor had been burned.
The case has been turned over for further investigation by detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Loss is estimated to be $17,950.
